Decorate & glaze
In Decor & Glaze you work with a ceramic piece that has already been bisque fired and give it color, pattern and surface using brushes and glaze.
You can keep the result simple or explore more playful decoration with guidance along the way.
No previous experience is needed.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome to participate together with an accompanying adult. The accompanying adult does not need to book a separate place if they are only there to supervise. If the adult would also like to participate in the workshop, a separate place must be booked.
One ceramic piece, already bisque fired, is included.
How it works
During the three hours you decorate and glaze your piece with guidance along the way. We cover simple ways to work with brushes, color and glaze so you can create a finish that feels like your own.
After the workshop we fire your glazed piece in the studio. Firing and finishing can take around 2–4 weeks.
After glaze firing
- When your piece has finished firing, we will let you know that it is ready for collection.
- If you want to make a new piece from clay, you can book Handbuilding or Wheel Throwing.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Your booking applies to the date and time you selected.
A full refund is available for 14 days from the payment date. This does not apply if the workshop starts within those 14 days.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another person. Please let us know the name of the new participant before the workshop.
